For those that are having trouble, I was also having trouble in the beginning so instead of doing 10 double crochets I did nine since the chain four counted as one double crochet chain one and I was able to get 30 stitches at the end of the round. for the rest. Just make sure you pay close attention and you should have no problem.

I couldn’t figure out how to increase the size I tried adding another ch 3 and two double crochets in the space and in the middle stich and now I’m five rows deep into the sides of the hat and it’s still laying flat…will be looking for another pattern

Idk if it is just me but when you begin the stitch around 5:10 I get confused how the tension line goes forward mine is still stuck in the back and I can’t figure out what I am doing wrong or even what I can do to fix that issue - I completely restarted it thinking I did something wrong but when I rewatched the video I noticed the video cuts and then the tension is now in front - does anyone know how to help??
